One Year of Toucan Workplace

I can’t quite believe I’m writing this, but it has now been one year since I started my journey with Toucan Workplace.

And what a year it has been.

When you are developing a business, there are always going to be challenges. We talk about development, strategy, planning, marketing, deliverables, KPIs and growth, but sometimes you have to stop and look back at what has actually been achieved.

For me, this anniversary is one of those moments.

Over the last year, we have been building something focused on creating lasting change in the way organisations understand and support neurodiversity in the workplace.

As a consultant, coach, business development strategist, marketing strategist and someone who is neurodivergent myself, it is very easy to keep looking at the next idea, the next target or the next opportunity.

Sometimes you have to stop and think.

When I look back over the last 12 months, there is a lot to be proud of.

We have delivered training, run webinars, supported organisations, completed Workplace Needs Assessments, delivered dyslexia assessments and provided coaching sessions.

We are not always exactly where we want to be, but everything takes time. Building something meaningful takes time. Growing services takes time. Building relationships takes time. Creating real change takes time.

And that is what this first year has really been about.

At Toucan Workplace, our services are designed to bridge the gap between individual strengths and organisational success. From specialist assessments to training, consultancy and one-to-one coaching, we support neurodivergent individuals while helping employers create more inclusive and effective workplaces.

So, to mark my one-year anniversary with Toucan Workplace, I wanted to share two free ways you can start a conversation with us.

Free: Understanding Neuro Inclusion

What does it really mean to create a neuro-inclusive workplace?

Join our upcoming session exploring how organisations can move beyond neurodiversity awareness and create workplaces where different ways of thinking, communicating and working are genuinely supported.

Join the Understanding Neuro Inclusion waitlist: https://www.toucanworkplace.com/project/understanding-neuro-inclusion/

If neuro inclusion is something you are thinking about within your organisation, find out more and join the waitlist.

Free: 15-Minute Workplace Consultation

Sometimes the best place to start is simply with a conversation.

You can book a free 15-minute Workplace Consultation with me to talk about neurodiversity, whether you are looking for support for yourself, an employee, a team or your wider organisation.

We can explore what you are trying to achieve, some of the challenges you may be experiencing and how Toucan Workplace may be able to support you.

One Year On

One year in, I am proud of what we have built, excited about what comes next and grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.

There is still a lot more to do.

There are more organisations to support, more individuals to empower and more conversations to have about what genuine neuro inclusion looks like in the workplace.

But one year on, it feels like a good moment to stop, look back and recognise just how far we have come.

And then, of course, keep moving forward.
